Given its naturally oily properties, a rosewood fingerboard is more repsonsive to touch, and absorbs the oils from your fingers. Unlike other guitars that have fingerboards made out of solid maple, acoustic properties of the rosewood fingerboard also give the Elite 7 a much richer and fuller sound.
Pickups
The Schecter Damien Elite 7 features the EMG HZ7A pickups. These are made specifically for Schecter 7-string guitars, and are incredibly balanced and versatile. This gives you incredible bass registers, pronounced mid-ranges, and full highs that will demand attention from your listeners. The vintage-designed wound coils are loaded with Alnico bar magnets, producing solid sound when you play while reducing noise to a minimum.
